Perpetual Calendar

by Michael Bertrand

A large part of Genealogy is working with dates. Often we find references that refer to "last Thursday" or "two weeks ago". Unless you know exactly what day of the week you're starting from, it's tough to get a handle on exactly when the event took place. That's why I find a Perpetual Calendar to be very helpful.

Presented here is one that can give you a monthly calendar all the way back to 1582. That's when Pope Gregory XIII decreed that ten days would be removed from the month of October.

You must use a Java-capable web browser to view the calendar.
